HEROES: Reborn

NBC is reviving the Heroes television show along with creator Tim Kring. The network is looking to shed all the old baggage and move in an entirely new direction with a new cast & storyline. The new season is will be a 13 episode mini series and depending on its performance they may order new eps

I'm not excited about this at all really. Season 1 was great & I liked season 2 despite it's weaknesses but it got really bad really fast after that.

If NBC can score a hit out of this, more power to them but I think I'll pass on this

I'm excited. The show was hurt by the writer's strike and then by a continuity overload. I really enjoyed what they were doing during the last season. Hopefully they can make the show good again.

Never got past season 2 cause it was really weak. But that episode in season 1 where we saw what would happen in the future was really cool.

I never watched the show to begin with, and actually have no desire to, especially after hearing how the ending went.

Lol! I was thinking that myself. Also, how and who made the case for it to the network? They're good!

I'll be interested to watch the first episode.

Everything new fails so why not reboot the less than 10 years old.

It seems what's becoming the best reviewed shows are those on premium channels (Showtime, HBO) or those on new media like Netflix. I would agree with Cam's statement in regards to what airs on the likes of NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. AMC and FX tend to have moderate success but it seems the real winners are elsewhere, leaving the original channels to up their output with dozens of new shoes all competing for time or go back to the well.

You are correct, I was more thinking about about basic cable.

Like Farhan said;
ABC, NBC, etc, rehash the same old shit.
FX, USA, etc does the same kind of thing as the basic cable, but at a better quality with more of an edge.

Premium cable, HBO, Sundance, Cinemax,AMC, Showcase does original, quality programming.

The pay stations with original programming is becoming the "New TV" where Hollywood actors/actresses are phasing into this medium for new stuff.
