It was very good. Much funnier than the previous three X-Men films, but it was enjoyable. I had only a few complaints, the major one being that I didn't like how Emma Frost sounded. She didn't have that confidence and arrogance I expect from her. If you've seen the Wolverine and the X-Men animated, that's how I expected her to sound.
Overall a very good film, and has one of the best one liner and cameo spots I've ever seen. We were all laughing hard at that one.

It was neat, but I don't think it was really all that great. A nice call back sure, but nothing that made me go 'oh my god!' or anything. Minor Spoiler..
She turns into Rebecca Romijn in the scene where she tries to seduce Magneto and he says 'maybe in a few years'. It's a nice touch, but a lot of people seem to miss it, which is easy when she almost never appeared as herself outside of about 5 minutes total between the 3 X-Men movies before this. Again, kind of neat but nothing I really got excited about.

I caught that, didn't think of it as a cameo though.Tragic Angelus wrote:It was neat, but I don't think it was really all that great. A nice call back sure, but nothing that made me go 'oh my god!' or anything. Minor Spoiler..

Saw it, thought it was great. I caught the two cameos the first time around.
Agreed about Emma Frost not coming off as tough or as arrogant as she does in the animated shows/books. A shame though as she seemed very under utizilized. I expect she'll have a bigger part in the next film.
Only qualm I had about the movie was about
Spoilers
Magneto choking Emma with metal poles while shes in diamond form. Diamond form is obviously supposed to be nearly unbreakable? How he was using the metal poles to choke her by breaking the diamond around her neck just didn't make any sense...It's diamond. Diamond is harder than Metal...Beyond that I thought it was a great film.
