Wolverine and the X-Men
Anyone else watching this one?
It's an alternate history where Prof X and Jean disappear in a mysterious explosion and Wolverine is left to pull everyone together. Magneto is running Genosha and a war between mutants and humans is set to bring about the apocalypse. (Not the character, just the end of the world.) It's got everyone, basically, but not always where you'd expect to see them.
I'd rank it above the original series and X-Men Evolution in both animation quality and story.

Evolution was good shit. Odd manipulation of X.Men set-up, just like this series, but both of them work.
I think, as long as you can get over the commercially driven idea to put Wolverine in such a central role, you will enjoy this series, because it delivers a good story.
The animation is quite good, but I'm no fan of the way Wolverine, as the alpha male of the group gets these ridiculously over sized biceps and I don't much like the Samurai Jack face either.

Ummm.... Kitty, Iceman, Cyclops, Storm. Angel and Nightcrawler are sort of on the team. Nightcrawler keeps getting side-tracked with different plotlines and Angel has a conflict of interest. Rogue is a backstabbing cunt as always, wavering between sides and untrusted by both.Tragic Angelus wrote:Other than Wolverine, Beast, and Emma Frost, I don't really recall who all's on the team.. or at least, I think they were from some promo shots and short videos I saw.. Anyone care to fill in who makes up the 'main team'?
Beast isn't really his confidant. That role goes to *SPOILERS*!!!

Thanks. That's not too bad of a team really, a lot of key characters that I like. I might search for an episode or two online to see how it is, but I'm not positive I'll go out of my way to find it.
