Preacher & DMZ to be a TV Series.

Movies that suck. Music that rocks. Books and Games, it's all right here.

Preacher & DMZ to be a TV Series.

Yay!

I think Preacher will end up being bad.

DM is iffy, with it being on SyFy.

SyFy just seems an odd choice for DMZ. I've only read the first 12 issues but I don't recall it being along the lines of SyFy. AMC or FX maybe would've been a better place perhaps but I don't know. I'll check out the DMZ news as it comes up, but I don't care much for the Preacher news.

Me too. Although AMC handling of Walking Dead and Mad Men on the business side of things makes me wary for any kind of new show.

Showtime (Homeland) would have been a great network for DMZ.

Any premium channel would have been great, but I wonder if they want a wider audience to see it.

Plus, I look for AMC to add a few other shows since Mad Men has one more season and Breaking Bad is done.

I'll wait and see but it's true that I don't see much science fiction on DMZ.

I assume SyFy is trying to branch out and do a bit more. It could be good though, as some of their series look to have decent production values from what I've been able to see. I'm sure we won't have move of the week production but SyFy just doesn't strike me as the channel I'd want to see any comic show on really, let alone a more reality based one.

The only thing I keep reminding myself of is SyFy did do BSG, which was fantasic.
