It's like a sweater. If you pull strings, the whole thing comes unraveled and no longer can be used.

I see what you mean.

I'm in two minds though whether or not some of the things we've mentioned here are reasonable for suspense of belief. None of them ruin the film for me though, so I guess I feel they are all acceptable.
