There's been two seasons so far. 3 one hour episodes each. All self contained episodes. Each episode has nothing to do with the other episodes. Each show explores an aspect of emerging social trends and often technological possibilities. This show is a psychological horror show. And it's fucking awesome.

To attempt to get you into Black Mirror, here's a clip from the first episode of season 1. In this two minute clip, you see part of the first five minutes of the episode, where the premise of the psychological horror gets under way. Honestly, you won't see the dark direction they choose to go down coming, but you'll certainly love it.
