I haven't found any information about Hardcovers for Checkmate, but there is a 4th TPB which has issues 26-31 (the whole Bruce Jones "Chimera" arc).

Haha, I was trying to figure out what you guys were talking about and saw Checkmate. Oh well, not unusual for me to make a fool of myself ^_^
But yeah, the trades for Gotham Central skip over issues which confused/annoys me to no end. I stay away from Hardcovers so I wouldn't know if they'd have the issues or not. Judging on the fact that HC 2 has issues not present in the TPB I'd say it's a good bet HC 3 would have all issues and not skip like the TPB did.

I did and it's a big loud "Yay"!! A really good book with great characterization, stories and art.
