So looks like I'm on the road again soon!
We have just won a massive contract with one of the main truck manufacturer in Europe. They are a German company based in Munich.
As I am responsible for operationnal process, I'm going at least one week in Munich so that they can train me on their process and software.
And of course, their offices are way off the center of Munich which means we'll probably have to stay in some roadside hotel about an hour taxi ride from where all the fun is. Oh well.
Also, it means Malorie has to be alone at home with the 2 kids for a week which isn't so cool for her.

Congrats dude.

What a typical man though, leaving his wife to tend to the kids while he fucks off to another county for a week long jollie. :)

So I ran the Lyon 10 kilometers last Sunday. It was a great experience again. There were +20,000 people running. I really wanted to make it under the hour but unfortunately, my official time is 1:00:23 which is fucking annoying. 23 goddamn seconds! (Also, my Runtastic app says I did 0:59:31 so there is that...)
And starting at km 8, it was pissing down. I was completely soaked through but it gave me the boost to ran faster than I ever had so I did the last kilometer at more than 11 km/h which is really fast for me. Of course, since I had my phone in my pocket, it got soaked too and now I have the Samnsung pink screen of death whenever I turn on. It's already spent one night in a bowl of rice and it wasn't enough so I'm trying another 24h before handing it to my operator for repairs.

Well done on the run dude! Hope it didn't kill the phone though. Never heard of the Samsung pink screen of death before.

Congratulations on completing the 10 kilometer run! We're you feeling exhausted once it was over or did you have that post-workout glow?

I did 1:00:23.
Gah, and now I just checked their website where you can see all the pics they took and search for your pic with your runner number and of course : no pics comes up with my number. Meaning I have to through the 7000 unidentified pictures if I want to maybe find one of me. And I'm vain enough to do it!!!
(also, phone is still under rice, will take it out tomorrow morning).
