So Fash, you're getting your protein needs from the powder, presumably mostly whey, what about the other nutrients?

Any chance of replacing your main food item, the protein powder, with some sort of nutrient powder with a better balance of all the nutrients?

This is not a recipe thread, okay. I've tried that. I'M TOO LAZY. I'd have to go to the store and spend way more money than I want to and then come home and cook and then do the dishes and JUST NO.

I've got 1kg of protein powder. What can I put it in? Anything that it will mix into without leaving huge yucky lumps?
Ice, Bananas, Milk, blend. You can put in eggs too. Brown Bananas,. like you'd use for banana bread are best.
Is it flavored powder?

Mixed berries, yogurt, orange juice and ice are good too. Blender.

Protein powder is generally meant for smoothies or just milk.

I don't know, the packaging is in Korean. I can tell that it contains vitamins A, B, C, E, and iron, but can't really read the rest of it. I don't even know if it is whey. It might be soy. Doesn't really matter since I'm using it for food more than anything.

I feel better after one day of eating it though.

It tastes like something, but I think it's unflavoured.

Then you can throw it in pretty much anything.

Just be careful, it is not smart to let that replace normal meals.

It is replacing not eating anything at all, so I think I'm still coming out ahead.

Next step: real meals.

At most, let it replace breakfast or lunch.

Cram yourself with fruit, vege, rice and beans.

This sounds like a recipe for diarrhea.

Drinking my very first smoothie out of my brand new blender. (Okay so: Craigslist, $5. But it's new to me!)

It's fucking great, it's one of the small ones and it is so much better than the big one I used to have. It actually mixed the protein powder in with the rest of it instead of clumping it to the blades and side of the container. HOLY SHIT!!! If I'd known the small blenders were this good, I would have bought one ages ago.

Ingredients: milk, strawberry yogurt, banana, 1.5 scoops of protein powder.

MGM wants to know about my job at the university. Yes, it is still on. Yesterday I bought some practical-looking business-y shoes and today I went and got measured for a suit. I won't have to wear it every day but there is a ceremony on Monday and I know from experience that I am going to want to look very formal and serious. Competent-like. Looks are very important in South Korea, and not just the natural beauty a person might happen to be blessed with. Tomorrow I have an appointment for a fitting and will buy some pantyhose. Yes, I went with the skirt suit. I'm that serious!

I need to input some syllabi but the website is not working! Dammit, I'm trying to look professional here.

My dad is a head English teacher in a South Korean university. I don't suppose you've run into any Redman's there, eh?

Important question. How short is the skirt?

Actually, from a joke. What's the style like over there? Is it fairly reserved?

LOL, that would be awesome.

"Hi, I'm prof. Redman."

"Oh, hi. I'm Jess. I know your daughter through the internet."

I could see it now.
