Sorry to hear that! I've had people do that to me, makes no sense at all. I had a girl I was really getting into conversation with on Facebook and suddenly out of nowhere she stopped talking to me. Makes no sense at all but it just happens...

1 month from now.

It doesn't leave a ton of time to buy comics to be signed.

Fuck, I'm looking at their website.

This show is a clusterfuck.

No on site badge sales, fire marshalls shutting down autograph lines.

A 4 days pass sells for almost $600 on ebay.

I don't plan on getting anything done at this show, except 1 sketch.

From the sounds of it, 1 sketch sounds like a reasonable expectation. By comparison, Reed Exhibitions appear to do a pretty fine job of organising NYCC.

Hope you have fun regardless. It will be great hearing how you found SDCC.

Incidently, I'm pretty sure I've read Freakangels vol 5 by now. I'm tempted to say it's my favourite Ellis series.

I'm pretty sure I will find it too hard to do anything, or see any creators, which is why I never considering going there myself.

I expect it to live up to day.

But a free trip, I will most certainly go and check it out once.

I still have Vol. 5 to read, but I very much enjoy it.

What sketch are you getting?

I saw the list and there only a few artists there who I really want a sig from are Ed Benes, Jamal Igle & Jo Chen. The rest I wouldn't mind waiting for at NYCC.

The other folks who I'm dying to meet & greet are the main cast from the Arkham City video game. It's being promoted at SDCC: Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamil, Paul Dini & I think Bruce Timm will all be at the AC panel.

Ryan Ottley for Invincible.

I just wish they would list artist alley, because I've heard there are some awesome creators, like Sean Phillips, going.

You should just ask the artists if they'll be there and where.

Ha, tempting. I'd have to figure out who I would even want to ask.

I might do that this weekend, though.

I tweeted Philipps about it. I'll let you know the answer if he does reply.
You should set up a Twitter account, if only to follow artists you like.

I may just do that.

Surprise surprise (not really) they're having trouble finding a hotel room.

The flight is dirt cheap right now, but every hotel is booked to capacity. Working on a solution, but it makes me sad. = /

"From @seanphilipps: @ArnaudXIII not this year. Too expensive."

So there you go, no Sean Philipps at SDCC.

Oh, are you telling me the guys have not booked their hotel yet? Or is it just a hotel room for you? I remember Meek? booking his like 6 months ago.

Hey, so how are things working out for SDCC? Also, what's the status of you buying the complete issue of Fallen Angel?

SDCC has no news, which makes me very grumpy. Finding a place to stay is a bitch. And they are comic guys, which never do anything fast. I'd have to leave in less than 2 weeks!

The issue of Fallen Angel should arrive tomorrow, I am very excitied!

Very cool!
Oh, and SDCC website has been updated with Artists Alley list but it looks uncomplete.
