So yeah. I bought them! I think I shall post pictures for tomorrow!

For now.

1 was a solid 4.0, maybe 4.5
3 was a 7.
4 was a 2, bue to a 2 inch rip in the spine.

Thanks!

I figured I'd never be able get one so now I just might be able to finish a run of Uncanny X-Men.

So. I'm trying to buy a full issue of original comic art.

I found 1 I like, for a great a price. But there is one page missing, it had some people drawn into it, and was given to them as a gift.

The artist has offered to re-create the page for me, so I can have the whole issue, but I am a little torn about it, since it isn't the full, real issue.

Dilemmas, dilemmas. The book is way cooler than the other 2 I was looking at, and has a cover included, and way better pages.

Gar!

First world comic book rant over.

And in case you were wondering.
It's Fallen Angel: Return of the Son 4.

EDIT;

He is also putting me into my own page in a future selling comic, free of charge (I get the original art page). Fuck me, Woodward is awesome.

Nice! How much would it cost, in total?

$1000
The comic has a 1 page splash of the main character and a 2 page splash, which along with the cover if youve ever priced out original art is a ridiculously good price

Normally covers are over a grand

Sadface.

He doesn't have the cover to issue 4, it has been mis-placed.

He offered to replace it with 2 other covers, though.

Arn, did you ever try Fallen Angel?

So...

Barring any unforeseen events and astronomically priced flights, it looks like I will be attending SDCC this year.

Sweet!

This seems last minute. Did you just recently decide to go?

Regardless, have fun. I'm curious to see how the security & organization looks from a Line Jumper's perspective. Clearly you'll be there casing the place.

The gentlemen I know (the guy who got us the passes for NYCC) need a hand working their booth at the show, so I would be working for them.

It is kind of last minute, but they pay for flights, lodging, & food, so I'm game.

I'll be working pretty much the whole shows, but considering it's 4 and a half days, I should find lots of time to walk around.

That's awesome! I hope you enjoy it! And if you do go, get in touch with our former West Coast rep because you know he'll be there every day!

That won't be happening.

I don't know why, but he defriended me from facebook when we got back from NYCC, and never responded to my questions of why.

I don't think he likes me very much. Ah, internet drama.

Which is a bit of a shame, as the guys I am working for still have a few exhibitors passes on hand, I believe.
