Nope, I haven't. Not sure if I should be excited by it, either. I know his name, but never really saw one of his fights.

I didn't realize he had the highest UFC wins in history with 19, and another person is about to beat him on it, which may be a factor.

That's just a silly reason to come back. Who's about to beat him, BTW? Mighty Mouse?

Fight Week looks like it'll be an insane amount of good fights, BTW. And I like that Tate is willing to fight Cyborg (yet I still would like to see De Randamie fight Cyborg).

Amsterdam Comic-Con was last weekend. About 30% was comics, as expected. But nonetheless, we had fun. One of the friends we were with, really wanted to meet some actors (Chris Judge, again. Hungover, again.) which made it a bit more than just wandering through the comics-section (which is always the same, because in these regions there aren't THAT many big vendors).

Anyway, artist were there. We grabbed two sketches each. A free one by Romano Molenaar (pretty good artist who did the European Storm after Don Lawrence died and does some American stuff as well) and a €5 sketch by Boykoesh (who's doing Captain Ultimate at the moment).

Oh, almost forgot. We had the most fun during the entrance. We were quite in front of the line (I'd say about 20 people in front of us). We didn't get the early bird tickets, but it was possible to upgrade right there at the moment (probably also because it was raining and they figured the less people there were, the more people would be standing dry). With about 45 minutes to go, we decided to upgrade (10 euros each), so we'd be able to get a look at the place and wouldn't have to stand in line for the cash machine too long. So, we were sent to someone who scanned our passes (bypassing the bag-control) and told us to go inside and pay. Once inside, we were somehwat condused as where to pay. Then we realized we'd been sent the wrong way and were past the point where we'd have to pay. So, a free 45 minutes extra.

Alright, I suppose. Just a few stands that were really about comics, most were anime, games, tv and for some reason Japanese candy.

I got an Inhumans TPB (the Jenkins/Lee one) and Marvel Boy in singles.

And I'm in doubt whether I made a mistake, of if it was Lee being unprofessional: my comission wasn't done yet. He offered refund or mail (I took the latter). I'll admit that I contacted him late about it all (I think it was on Monday), but he replied that it was fine. I never told him I'd only be visiting Sunday (why would I be there two days), but I also assumed that 'fine' meant 'done before the Con'. I suppose we'll see that piece when it gets here.

Remember this? He finally got it done. And then he changes his mind and says he thinks it's too much anime and he could do a new one if we'd prefer. Actually we did, but this is what he thought wasn't good enough:

Fun facts: we wanted to spend the weekend of 3-4 June in Stockholm but couldn't​ find plane tickets that fitted us so we opted for a weekend in Milano instead​.
