What's eating like at the moment?

When I had my wisdom teeth out I had all four out at once under general anesthetic. My jaw swelled up like a hamster.

Eating is no problem. They did twice each time and it was a hassle for about a week, maybe two. After that no problem. And it's been months since last time. On the right I do still have two big holes, where sometimes food disappears. But that's it.

You have food disappearing in your gums. I wouldn't call that "no problem".

Flu is quite strong this year. Lots of coworkers and family stuck in bed with high fever. Get well, soon!

Fever isn't that high (although it was when it kicked in), but I can barely stand or kep my eyes open for an hour.

That really sucks, are you on antibiotic? Hopefully you get better soon! My brother is just starting to get over the flu, it was so bad that my mom kept my nieces for a sleepover all weekend while he healed up.

Why would I be on antibiotics?

My bad, I didn't mean antibiotics (if you have the influenza, antibiotics obviously won't work). My usual stupid self just jumbled words as I tried to rewrite what I had written, sorry. I meant some sort of medication (for my brother they gave me corticosteroids).

Yeah, ibuprofen. Not sure what else I'd need.

My taste for alcohol has sadly diminished the last few days. As has my stamina.

Always look on the bright side of life : you are on a wonderful diet. With no exercise at all, you're guaranted to lose a couple of kilos. How cool is that?

I was already counting on that. Too bad it probably will mostly be muscle.

The trick is to not have muscle. This way, all the weight you lose is fat. ;)
Lost close to 5 kilos this winter (from 69 to 64.5kg), all due to me being sick or me being stressed out and not eating anything because either Malorie or the kids were sick. :D
