Probably somewhere down the line yea. I wouldn't mind owning the issues, but the continuity confuses me so much even after having it explained multiple times and reading about it all (New Teen Titans, Tales of the New Teen Titans, etc) and how one became the other.. or something.

But yea at some point I might try to nab a lot of the Perez/Wolfman stuff.

If you're interested, I've seen a bunch of it at flea markets and cheap bins over the past month or so for a buck, and if they still have it next time I go back, I could try grabbing a bunch of it for fifty cents if you're interested.

Condition might not be great, but if you just want to read it, it can work.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. So it's about .50-$1 an issue? About how many issues do most of them have?

I'll let you know, it's been a couple or so since I have check the exact issues (at the guy I know had a bunch), but I'll keep my eye out when I go next, maybe not till weekend after next, as we are about to have a long weekend. Hopefully some will still be there.

If I can score them for fifty cents I'll just buy whatever is there, and if you don't want them then I don't mind getting some 50 cent comics.

Where there any story arcs in particular you were interested in?

Not necessarily. The Judas Contract would be huge, if only to have it in singles but it's pretty rare to come across the entire storyline together from what I gather. I've got the four Perez/Wolfman trades that are out, but I'm down for most anything. I really appreciate that man and let me know anything you find. I'm sure I'll be interested in it!

I might be able to get the some of that storyline for 2 bucks an issue, if my back issue guy has a second set.
I think he sold me the whole set for 10, so maybe the 1st nightwing cost me 4.

I should say, I know a guy who deals only in back issues, he works out of a flea market and has found me some great fucking stuff, and he is still pretty cheap. Most of the back issues are 2 or 3 bucks, but he page counts everything he sells, and under prices pretty much everything.

It is where I got the great darkness saga, and judas contract, all for maybe, $20.

That's if I don't see it in the other bins, I'll let you know when I end up going.

Also, I really don't mind looking, because even if I don't see anything I want, I can at least have something to show for digging through those dusty & gross boxes.

I spoke to my back issues guy today.
If he comes across any he just wants to move, he'll let me know, and I'll in turn let you know.

Also, he said he might have some reading copies of Great Darkness Saga, beat on reading copies, but in 1 piece, he could sell for 50 cents.

How many issues is the GDS again? Like 5 or 7? I could do that I think.

Sure. Even if it doesn't work for you, not a huge deal for me.

I just figured I could ask if you're interested while I have him digging through some of the same stuff for myself.

Awesome man I appreciate it! I've been waiting for them to re-release the trade now that there's a new ongoing but it doesn't look like it'll happen. I'm finishing up the last trade of the Three-boot Legion series now.

But just keep me updated on how things go and what you and he find out.

Does Indiana simply hate coffee? I spent 3 days in southeast Indiana with literally no Starbucks within 2 popular cities. Every fast food joint imaginable, plus a Walmart and Kroger. Yet no Starbucks or any other coffeehouse. It was really weird.

Depends on the cities. What cities were you in? A lot of them have the Starbucks inside places like Kroger, Barns & Noble, or somewhere. Sometimes they're even in the malls. As for locally owned, that just depends on the town too.

Also, I had no idea this thread even existed.

The fact there was no Starbucks in sight means Indiana LOVES coffee. What dreck.

Lawrenceburg, Aurora, and Rising Sun (with the casino).

I would prefer other types of coffeehouses but use Starbucks if it's the only thing around. No coffeehouses in sight, not even in the Kroger/Walmart. These 3 towns must hate coffee :(

First off, none of those are decent sized cities haha those are small town places for Indiana. Which means, no coffee shops of any kind in sight. You've got to crack 10k in population before you get one of those. Coffee from a restaurant/diner/gas station is your best bet in towns like that.
