As long as London and specifically trains from the south-east into London aren't fooked tomorrow, I should be seeing them in the evening.

... with his missus and they appear to have had a lovely and busy time shopping.

So, met Mitch and his lady Natascha yesterday at Picadilly Circus and went for a drink.
They were a bit late. Not their fault at all. The lateness was because of some inconsiderate type who flung himself under the tube line they were on. The rudeness of some people, honestly.
We went to a bar around Leicester Square. They're both great of course! Totally as expected. Lot of geeky comic, sci-fi and NYCC10 chit chat. They're english is amazing!
Sounds like they made the most of their weekend shopping trip as well. Hopefully their flight will run as scheduled today and the weather won't delay it.
Mitch has got a couple of photos, Arn. Don't worry.
Oh surprisingly, Mitch wasn't as tall as I expected. I'm sure I'm as short as he expected though. Ho, ho, ho.
Because I'm awesome, I was given some biscuity goodness brought from Holland. I've just had one. Lovely! Thanks again Mitch and Natascha! It was great meeting you. Roll on NYCC10.
Oh yeah, I should hurry up and buy a ticket!

Stocky indeed is as short as I thoguht he'd be.
Twas great meeting him, he's actually as cool as he seems online. And yes, we did grace him with cookies, like the little boyscout he is.
Our flight back was great, no delays at all and since we were up earlier than planned, we had a very relaxed trip towards the airport. Basically the only delays we've had this weekend were towards our meeting with Stocky, since someone decided to have a collision with the tube.
As for shopping, we bought more than we'd planned. The most interesting parts are obviously the comics. TPB's for Pax Romana, Sleeper season 1, Sleeper season 2, The Surrogates and The Surrogates prequal.
Let NYCC2010 be here soon!
