Why Am I Seeing Ads Every Where?

For example, on the main page, when I see the title for the 'Inquiries' board, the words, "Knowledge and Wisdom" are now a link to some advert.
Have I downloaded some crap accidentally?

Oh, "now" and "downloaded" in my post above are also good examples of it.
