CBR Advertisers

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

I was on the Comic Book Resources website a few moments ago and was looking at the previews section of the main page when I noticed one of their advertisers (displayed pretty prominently) is for sex toys called Adamandeve.com

I'm not at all bothered by advertising sex toys but putting them on a comic book website seems just a tad inappropriate and out of place. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was a dating site, but sex toys and porno DVDs...eh

Sure it wasn't one of those randomly generated Google ads based on your browser preference? ;)

In all seriousness, that's pretty messed up. I have an adblocker set up where I don't see majority of ads so I never noticed it before.

I believe Chris is right. You get the ad you deserve. Stop browsing for stuff to stick up your ass, Wally, and your website will be kids-friendly once again.

:D
