Thank fuck for that. She's alright I suppose. Much better for the country than the idiot son Charles. However, what an embarrasment to still have a state functioning monarchy in the 21st century who mop up tax payer money.

Apparantly shit like a jubilee is good for the nation. Apparantly. The extra bank holiday's appreciated, but is this is hardly a pro argument.

How do you feel about the renaming of Big Ben to Elizabeth Tower in honor of her 60 years of service?

However, what an embarrasment to still have a state functioning monarchy in the 21st century who mop up tax payer money.

I was under the impression that the Royal family paid for their living space(s), transport and general lifestyle out their own pocket. Is this not the case?
