Basement X

I've seen some places do these mock drafts with different categories and think it could be fun, or least good for some shits and giggles. This edition will be superhero you'd wanna be. Be clear this isn't who's your favorite or who you'd pick in a fight, but who you'd wanna be! Just a couple ground rules:

1) Once a superhero identity/alter ego is picked, that's it for that legacy. So there's no picking Hal's Green Lantern and someone else picks Kyle's Green Lantern. That's stupid. No one wants to be Kyle. Same with different costumes, so no black costume Spidey one pick, then cosmic Spidey, then Malibu Spidey, etc...

2) No consecutive picks. In fact, you have to wait until 3 other people pick ahead of you before you get another.

So I'll start things off proper:

Tony Stark/Iron Man

Is this draft limited to just comic book superheroes or can you choose any heroes from any genre?

Aw crap, it's difficult picking a chick superhero. I'm gonna have to get back to you soon on this one. >.<

You mean, no one wants to be Hal. Kyle is a much cooler character.

1980s/90s Cable or my personal favorite X-Man (for at least the first half of his series), can't go wrong with this badass....

I'll be going for the underdogs here. This way I know I'll have all my picks satisfied.

There are a few popular characters I want to get out of they way before hitting up the other genres I know no one will go for

This really reminds me of those old writing contests we did on WW. 5 heroes per team and then we'd have to craft a tale.
