Pretty much what I think and I recall him mentioning a few things like that at the Con, most notably that he was trying to get his portfolio in order. Meek may be a Lazy Lee graduate but when he buckles down for work, he really buckles (weak knees and all )

Also, bear in mind Meek didn't register at the temporary BX website either so I highly doubt it's something personal. Also, I strongly feel that Meek won't forgo all the friend's he's made here because of a grudge. He just needs a bit of time to get whatever it is he needs to get done, done.

Particularly recently, I've been a fan of your replies to Shadowman. I don't want this direction to be a problem for you, but this is what people want.

But, if you put something like, "if that's how it's going to be, I'm leaving" on the table, then I'd rather you leave, because I'm not giving into that. There's no way your one voice and extreme action is going to make me reconsider my stance on this.

There's quite a few of us who cited work related posting as a reason for wanting to clean the board up a bit. So really, if we don't, we're all just giving into you, when we all want it cleaned up.
Even if we only look at the board for 15-30 minutes during a lunch break, it's not too much to ask that the board look respectable.

I agree other people do reference your penis a lot. I probably do it from time to time. Most of us are guilty to a greater or lesser extent of being too flagrant with the dick, titties and rape jokes and yes I'm accusing everyone. From CBKA down to Edbert. We all jumped on the bandwagon of excessive dick jokes. It is fun. It's fun to rib each other. But then we let the door open to pointless, "I rape your butt" posts and cotinuous thread infecting back and forth with our personal rib items. And honestly, as much fun as I have with teasing you about a bloody penis, Meek about old women and Wally about corpses, there's only so much interaction you can have relating to these themes before the non-stop back and forth becomes excessive, no longer a joy and simply habit.

Having no boundaries was one of the big things we celebrated when Brad/JMT first set up the original asylum for our WizardWorld clique. We've all gone too far though. It's funny stuff, but all the time is just too much. It's no good for us. We don't second guess ourselves before we post, but I reason this is because we've gone so far in the extreme direction of assuming it's normal to post crap all the time, we actually feel affronted, when someone finds our posts too perverse and one-track - when we should be second guessing ourselves.
No boundaries is too much trouble just like too many boundaries. We may not be simpletons who need constant decency supervision, especially since we only interact with each other on this board, but no boundaries means wheeling through too many dick jokes when reading a thread. We all went along thinking it's such a great thing to not have boundaries, well, that's only true if we're amazing at self-regulating, but we're not.

Restraining myself to more subtle toilet humour jokes and restricting my more perverse humour to the Penthouse and only limited appearances elsewhere on the board is just not something I consider as censorship. At the very least, give it a go. It's not censorship, it's restriction. I don't think anyone wants it fully gone. Just restricted. A board that's 90% substance and or fun and only 10% dick joke ribbing.

It may be frustrating in the short run to have to adapt from posting perverse crap majoritively in the Penthouse forum, but any change takes some getting used to. It's also long overdue that this board had some female hormonal balance in it and wasn't just a dick party. Dick parties going on for too long means dick jokes become normal 100% of the time. It's not normal though.

Nobody even talks about anal rape anymore. Space and CBKA stopped that a long while ago. So that's pretty much a non-issue. So there must be something else that's rubbing people raw. And we've already banned signature banners, so what's next? That's what I'm saying. The JDC banners, jokes and concept in general is just a big joke. Those signature banners were hilarious. There wasn't anything on those banners that was anymore revealing than what you'd see in/on any magazine cover in the supermarket or even on prime-time television.
