Merry Belated Christmas everyone! Looks like you all had a great time except for Wally and the Snowpocalypse (sp?). Tough break man, shovelling is not fun.
I went back to my hometown Christmas Eve day and successfully completed my Christmas shopping on that day. Do I know how to procrastinate or what?
I'm hard to buy for so I mostly got useful things like;
A ton of tea. I've got Japanese teas, teas from Nepal, some funky fruity tea, I'm set for months! - from my mom
Wideacre by Phillipa Gregory - also from mom
Low Maintenance Gardens book - a thoughtful purchase from my little brother
Money - from my grandma
RONA gift card - from my uncle (which came in handy cause I needed a toaster and microwave.)
Set of plates and mugs - from mom and dad
Doctor Who the complete fifth series DVD box set - from my dad
Cards - from friends and colleagues
A little clutch purse - from the office gift exchange
Fancy bath stuff, a miny stonehenge set, a little sumo wrestler toy, a box of Rocky Mountain chocolates and a bottle of white wine - in the gift package we all got from our boss
Mostly I enjoyed Christmas for the days off with family and time off to get the house in order. I still appear to be living in squalor, but it's a happy squalor (if such a thing exists).
