The Hunter - IDW - Darwyn Cooke

So Darwyn Cooke is adapting the first three Parker novels in graphic novels. That's no news, it was announced last year at SDCC.
The Parker series was written by Richard Stark (aka Donald Westlake, RIP). The first three novels are The Hunter, The Outfit, The man with the getaway face. It's noir at his best. You may know it without realizing. The Hunter has been turned into a movie twice already, first as "Point Blank" with Lee Marvin and about 10 years ago as "Payback" with Mel Gibson.
The first GN will come out in July from IDW. I'm all excited about it. I started reading the novels and I can't wait to get my hands on Cooke's adaptation. Cooke even worked directly with Westlake on the project until Westlake died recently.
Look at those beauty pages :
So what I'm saying is : Pre-order this book. Buy it. Spread the word. It will be greatness. I swear!
