It's not bad, but I'm thinking of dropping Conan.
In my opinion, nothing surpasses the Busiek/Nord age.

Busiek/Nord run was spectacular, no doubting that, but Truman's kickoff run was pretty damn good as well.
Truman took a similar route to Busiek in terms of storytelling and characterization...well he made Conan a little more humanistic, what with him showing brief bits of mercy. The only thing that I'm having to adjust to is the art. Nord's style had that hard edged, earthy feel to it. This art is a bit brighter and has more of a "comic" feel to it. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different to what I'm used to.

1. not enough decapitations. The ratio is down from 3:1 page to 1:1 page.
2. I know, why do you think I've been giving Truman so much slack up until now. It's just a matter of trimming the fat. This title gots ta go.
