So... Ryan Kelly! Anyone read anything by Spurrier? 'Cause I have no clue if I should want to read their book if he's a shitty writer.

Also, Rucka. Except that 'witch-noir' really doesn't sound that interesting. Also, Scott's art looks pretty generic, from what Google can show me.

The Ellis book looks interesting, with a good artist on it.

The Private Eye finally seeing print, which is great.

And of course a new Aaron/Guerra book.


CODENAME BABOUSHKA sounds just like Velvet, without the top writer and top artist.

I don't care if Spurrier is any good. Ryan Kelly deserves my support.
I'll get the Rucka book but I hope it won't be something like Veil.
I'll get the Private Eye and of course, the Aaron/Guerra book.

On and don't dismiss Anthony Johnston. His Fuse is really good.

I liked Veil. I thought it was a good comic.

The usual suspects look good: Simone, Rucka & Aaron with Crosswind, Goddamned, & Black
Magick

The other one that looks good is Lady Baboushka.

I'm not too thrilled about Warren Ellis. I read a lot more of his work the last year and I was underwhelmed by a lot of it.

Happy to see Private Eye is coming to print.

Of this batch I'm reading Black Magick (awesome) and The Goddamned (better get good soon!). Not Cry Havoc, even with Ryan Kelly on it. Huck is fun, but I'm not buying it

And I don't think Crosswind and Heartless ever made it to print?

I picked up Private Eye, Black Magick, and the GOddamned.
GOt an issue of Huck, then dropped it.
I have Cry Havoc, but not read it.

Heartless certainly never did.

Did not get Cry Havoc in the end. I like Black Magick and Goddamned.

With Rucka and Scott taking over Wonder Woman at DC, I wonder where that leaves Black Magick though
