Your argument is wrong.
The DC and marvel boards are for the DC and Marvel lines.
Icon, Vertigo, Wildstorm, while owned by Marvel and DC, and not part of the main Marvel and DC lines.

His argument is not wrong. Icon is a Marvel line, no matter how you spin it. Same goes for Vertigo and Wildstorm for DC.
