Velvet

Post by MGM »

This was pretty good. Vintage Brubaker, what else is there to say? Obviously interesting to see what more there is to Velvet.

A bit underwhelmed by Epting, though. I'll have to check to be sure, but I thought his Cap was much better than this.

My LCS recommended this to me, and I've only read half of it, but so far I've found it entertaining. I was worried it tied in with all of his other work, but knowing it's self contained made it easier to go in and read it as it's own title. Looking forward to finishing it when I get the time.

Each title of Brubaker is self contained. You can read them safely.
I enjoyed Velvet but I am waiting to see more before I cry genius.

Oh, so far it's not genius. It's good, though. But no, say, Sleeper.

Finally finished it, and I found it pretty interesting. I'll definitely continue with this one at least to see where the first arc ends up going.

Same here. I liked it. Will be tuning in for more.

And Tragic, don't try and fool us. You only brought it because you thought it was red Velvet cake
