The Walking Dead vol 12 (spoilerish)

I think this title just Jumped the Shark for me.

Up until now I've always liked & admired Rick because whatever he did, he did it only to protect his family & friends. Any act of brutality he committed was done as a direct reaction to him. He's gotten colder, more paranoid and less trusting but he rarely instigated any violence.

However, since arriving in the Safe Zone, Rick has ultimately decided to take it over "for his people". Originally, while discussing it with Andrea Rick casually remarked that now that they are here (in the Safe Zone) if the other residents ever try and make them leave they'll just take it over. Now he's decided he's going to do just that. Rick is on his way to becoming The Governor.

Yeah, it did seems a bit rash to want to get the weapons back on the sly.

However, it's quite interesting where this could go.
