Buffy: TVS #25

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

Dawn is finally cured. With the current season being a little more than half way over, it would be premature of me to assume that the purpose of Dawn being a giant, a centaur or a doll for 25 issues was Whedon just not knowing what to do with her.

But like I said, its only been 25 issues, so maybe Dawns odd adventures will have some future purpose in the season.

Sorry dude. I'll post spoilers in the thread title going forward.

D, how often do you make it out to your comic shop (I've a feeling you may not get your copy for some time)?

Maybe one of us is missing something, but she's cured because the spell was broken. That thricewise college kid she dated cursed her when she slept with his roomate...it was an act of revenge. Dawnie knew, though, that he was thricewise and would probably retaliate, thus putting Buffy in a position to notice/rescue her....

In her reveal to Buffy at the end, I think she makes a pretty heartfelt plea that she still wants Buffy to realize she has a sister among all the slayers she's surrounded by.
