Anyone know any great DC stories from this era?

I've dug up a lot of the obvious ones, but wondering if you lovely boys have any close to your heart.

Well, in order to prevent repetition, what did you dig up?

Batman comics from 400-440, Death in the Family, 10 nights of the beast, year 1, year 2, year 3
What Ever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual 2/3

Then some Marvel:
Iron Man Armors Wars and 128, the drinking story, and various ASM.

Ok, if you're in that era, and you don't have

The New Teen Titans: Terra Incognito
The New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

Get them, in that order. It's Terra's rise and subsequent fall, the introduction of Jericho, and Dick's transformation from Robin to Nightwing. A must have, without a doubt. Though I'd like to assume you do indeed have most of those storylines. I've also come to be a huge fan of Satelite Era JLA stories, with none in particular. They're pretty short and sweet, and rarely go past 2-3 issues, if that, so if you can find around 5-8 sequential issues of Justice League from that Era prior to Detroit, you should enjoy yourself as well.

And if you can't find many of them, check this out:

He now recaps Flash stories, which I need to get on, but he basically kick offs his pod casts from Early Satelite years up through Detroit (which is where I stopped, sadly) and possibly a bit beyond. He not only fills you in on what happens, but provides full creative team, comments and critiques, and good humor along with referencing (then) current stories. It's definitely worth the time and effort of downloading and listening to at your own pace. It helped me catch up on about 50+ issues of JLA from that era.

I know little about 80s DC or Marvel

I know less on DC in the 80s since most of what I read is newer.

If you're into Perez/Wolfman Titans, I also suggest the

Who is Donna Troy?
Terror of Trigon

Trades, as they fit in just after and around each other and after the Judas Contract.

There is of course, Crisis on Infinite Earths, and there's supposed to be a Fantastic Legion story featuring Darkseid that I've yet to track down, but I hear it's very dark and surprising, and might be a bit rough if you'renot familiar with the Legion though. But then again, 80s stories tend to be filled with exposition to fill you in on everything so who knows.

Yea, the Great Darkness Saga. I can't find a trade in stores anywhere yet and I want to read it as I hear it's one of the most defining Legion stories of all the series

Maybe because it is only 1 issue?

If I can find 2, I'll mail you one.

No, it's more than one issue.

DC wouldn't generally charge $15 for a single issue.

Yea, and sadly that trade is out of print, which is why i'm hoping that with levits taking over Adventure Comics and the Legion back up, maybe they'll re-release it in a new printing.

Picked up 290-294 from my Local Back Issue Guy for 10 bucks, along with NTT 28/38, and Legion Vol 2 1-6.
