Who is collecting it and how are you liking it so far?

I am and it's a mix bag.
Some of those are very good : Kamandi, Deadman, Hawkman, Batman, Strange Adventures and Flash.
Others are pure crap like Teen Titans or Wonder Woman (this one really stinks, very cluttered text, coloring too dark, panels way too small : unreadable mess).
Superman has great Bermejo art but the story doesn't read too well with the story ending somehow abruptly and randomly picking up for the next ish.
All in all, I don't regret my decision. The paper stock is just regular newspapersheet and I don't know how it will hold the test of time so depending on the format of the collection, I might be tempted to by the TPB later.

I've been collecting the series as well but so far I haven't read a single issue. Not for lack of wanting to, just lack of time.
As far its formatting goes, the fact that its printed on regular newspaper concerns me as well. It most likely won't last nearly as long as trades or even floppies. :-/

I have all issues but only read half. The reason? It's a bitch to read! I usually sit in bed and put my comics on a pillow to read, but you can't put this on a pillow to read unless you want to fold it in half (blasphemy!) I'm thinking of laying it out on my bed and reading it by kneeling on the floor.
And I agree with it being hit or miss. I'm not a big fan of the Wonder Woman story but mainly because it just doesn't work for me. The print is so small and cramped with too elaborate text at times I find myself just breezing through the text without really comprehending it. So that one is the worst for me, but the best so far is either Metamorpho or the Metal Men. Metamorpho is brilliantly drawn (love Allerd!)...

I may look at the trade.. how do you think they'll put it together? Issue by Issue, or rather all of the Superman Stories together, followed by the Flash, followed by the Wonder Woman, etc? I know that would help the stories work together, but do you think it'd take away from the style of the original publication?

How can you forget the Paul Pope one? Arguably one of the best!
I think the Kamandi one is currently my fav. Most are doing a great job of making the most of the one pager format, but then there's Wonder Woman. Hahaha.
I'm not entirely sure these will read as well in a collection. I guess collecting them in one edition is a good idea though, but the one page format is designed to be read in quick installments. It's paced that way. Well, most are, except Wonder Woman and Superman. Ho, ho, ho.
Azz and Risso have gotten the pace right!

And that's probably why I mention "Strange Adventures" in my post as one of the very good.

Ah! Now I remember the name of the character that stars in that strip: Adam Strange!
I'm quite liking the Paul Pope art now! He's fucking good! I might have to give that Batman book of his a go now.

Of course you have to give it a go. And then buy 100%.

I've put both Batman Year 100 and 100% in my amazon basket where I put books and let them stay there until I'm ready to actually purchase a selection of them.
I shall post more Wednesday Comics related stuff once I've read my outstanding issues this weekend.

Okay, I've finished reading issue six.
From issue three onwards, I stopped reading the Wonder Woman strip. I take one look at it and it just feels like it will be far too much effort to read. It looks like an excercise in cramming as many boringly similar looking panels as you possibly can into a one page strip and at the same time a challenge in trying to fill as many panels as possible with entire speech bubbles. Oh and maybe it's also an excercise in using only green and purple?
Still loving Strange Adventures, Batman, Kamandi, Metamorpho, Deadman and Green Lantern.
