Superman / Action Comics

Is anyone reading this?
I'm not a real fan of Superman, and Bendis' best days are behind us, but these two books are actually quite fun to read. I prefer Action Comics, since that's the more 'grounded' book, but Superman delivers some decent superhero action. I'm pleasantly surprised by this.

I skipped both. United States of Murder Inc is the only Bendis book I can bring myself to buy.

Who is the supporting cast in each?

In Superman there's not really a supporting cast to speak of. Unless you would count Zod as a supporting character. First arc is completely in the Phantom Zone, where a (new) bad guy is claiming he's responsible for the destruction of Krypton and Kandar. Also nigh invulnerable, obviously.

Action Comics is more about Clark Kent at the Daily Planet. So lots of co-workers.

Cover is not bad either. Or at least, the first issue. I haven't read the next issues yet.

I read the first issue, you're right, it wasn't bad,but Bendis's first issues rarely are.

I didn't find it quite good enough to keep shelling out $6 an issue. May try to dig it out of the cheap bins in a few months.

Skipped the whole thing as well. Not much interest in Spiderman and haven't read stuff by Bendis in a while.
Might try the Jinx book when they are on sale.

Yeah, that is CAD. Probably not $6, more like $5.73.

It's 3.99 USD cover price.

That's harsh. At close to 6$, I couldn't see myself buying anything.
