Final Crisis: FAQ

Post by Tragic Angelus »

Thank goodness for CBR and their generosity!!

I found this last night, and it's been Insanely helpful in understanding a few things:

Final Crisis FAQ

They basically took dozens upon dozens of questions about FC and got answers for those of us still in the dark.

Included are:

Death/Missing tolls

OFFICIAL Reading Arc, and where each one shot, mini, and tie in fit into place, including the overarching Batman death story.

Who's Who at times

Various New God resolutions

and more.

From here on out, let SPOILERS be known:

I had no fucking clue that apparently, Hawkman and Hawkgirl died in issue 7. I mean, they're currently fucking showing up in JLoA, so how the hell were we supposed to know? Honestly?

I haven't gone through it all yet, as it's long, so I suppose I have a lot to learn.

Basically, although the CBR reviewers all love it, that one topic simply shows what's wrong with Final Crisis.

I totally agree. Overall it was incomprehensible, and needing a guide this extensive to interpret it is unacceptable.

However, I do think this is a GREAT feature for keeping up on major storylines/events that companies do. I think this should be a regular thing for readers not getting the full story, you know?

Well... no. Basically I like my stories understandable, so that a feature like this is unnecessary. :D

Sure, so do I. But occasionally they reference something that I may not recall from the past, or use characters I'm unfamiliar with so having something like this is nice. I think things like this can be usefull for big event stories.
