How is the art? I've been exposed to a bit of Lee Garbett and thought it wasn't too bad, certainly better than the Daniels and Beneses you guys love so much.

Garbett's art wasn't too bad, but nothing overly amazing either. Simple and clean, and I'm sure he'll improve the more he draws the characters. My only complaint was that Black Lightning was drawn with a small afro growing, when he's been bald for the last oh so many years. Everyone was easily recognizable, though he seems to leave little face details at times, just doing the least amount he can.. but that's just how I took it.

Adam Kubert did the one shot special where Alfred collected them, and it was bad, but it's what you'd expect from him.

As for Benes, I love his work but he can't seem to produce it fast enough to appear in a regular book, and Daniels is ok, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

At the least, I suggest grabbing or downloading the special so you can see them all collected by Alfred, and then issue 15 so you can get the premise.

You DC fans will never cease to amaze with your ignorance.

Sorry, that was supposed to say 'wasn't bad' not 'was bad'

I enjoyed it, but like I said, it was expected from him. I wasn't expecting anything less.

Trust me, I'm not entirely like meek? in the artist department. Not all of us DC fans are bad people. :)

Considering the artist you have to put up with, I wouldn't be surprised if your standard were all messed up.

It's easier to list the good artists working for the DCU : Pete Woods, Dustin N'Guyen, Gary Frank.
I think that's it. :D

At Wonder Con, Paul Dini announced he would be the writer for Streets of Gotham and Gotham City Sirens.
No artists yet.
GC Sirens will feature Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy reluctantly teaming-up.

I'm very interested in Kate Spencer becoming the new DA of Gotham City now that Manhunter is canceled for good. I might have to start looking around for a Bat title or two to read.

Judd Winick is back on Batman. He'll handle the solo "Batman" book. Meh.
