He has already worked through 3 of the 7, which I find pretty ridiculous. Why not?

Yea, as soon as he got the 3rd ring I was fairly certain he'd end up with all of them on before it's over.

And honestly, I'm still curious if another, 9th Corps won't be revealed during Blackest Night.

If the Black Lantern Corps is that of the dead, and it might take all of the other 7 to combat them, what are the odds we'll end up seeing a White Lantern Corps, compromised of Life to fully fend off the Death Corps?

My guess is they'd be the elite of the elite of the elite, the most powerfull Corps of all type, deus ex machina for the storyline, and Hal will be a member having transended from Death to Life again.

I'm just curious if that's what'll happen, and also if we'll see the entities that power the other Lantern Corps, like Paralax and Ion
