Overall, it looks to be a big month for DC. The Trinity's self-titled books all hit landmarks, and for the most part it seems like the 'major' events are over. Return of Bruce Wayne hits the halfway point yes but it's not a line wide deal it seems (tho I'm betting that Batman & Robin will be heavily influenced by it).

Things I noticed:

The 'Triangle Format' of the Superman books seems to be coming to an end. With a new direction and story in Supergirl, Luthor back in Action, and JMS taking over Superman it seems that all three books are going back in their own directions. While I'm sorry to see this go for some people who've been really enjoying it, I'm a little glad. It's been great seeing incredibly cohesion in the books, but I'm kind of ready to enjoy Supergirl alone again. Tho with Clark returning to his books, I'm tempted to now maybe look into one.

Green Arrow relaunches... again. I've been on that book since Smith relaunched it, and I'm pretty upset their not just retitling it like they have with this volume. I'm still on board, but do we really have to renumber it?

Flash: Another Rogue dies? I'm assuming that the first investigation plays into Captain Boomerang II/Jr. But who else? Will it be another 'Rogue try out' like in BN: Flash or someone who's really already in the Rogues?

Red Robin: New direction so we'll see how it goes. I've really been enjoying Tim's solo adventures, but who knows if I'll keep up just yet. Same goes for Outsiders, because I've been greatly disliking Didio's characterization on the book. He's really not got a feel for these characters, which saddens me.

It looks like I'll probably be replacing Batman & Robin by Morisson with Batman and adding Detective comics. I'll also be dropping something something else. Possibly Superman/Batman

Haven't decided yet.

One Vertigo series I've been aching to try out is Northlanders.

And I still need to make space for 1 Avengers title.

To be truthful, it's been mostly separated over the past year. It started out together but once they shipped Superman off to New Krypton each title went their own ways with x-overs every once in awhile. The triangle used to help when each story directly influenced the next, but it's not needed anymore.

Um, I dunno. Reading Supergirl has occasionally been a bit of a task. Reactron was dealt with mostly there, but there were plenty of times I was a little lost in the story, solely because I wasn't reading the other two titles. They did their own thing just before and including issue 50, but still, the most part it's not been to stand alone, especially now as well that the Last Stand of New Krypton is going on.

I follow the other 3 and not Supergirl and haven't had much of a problem, just with the occasional x-over. So it might just be they screwed Supergirl by trying to connect her so much with the others? I still feel a majority (besides x-overs) of Action and Superman were self-contained with each working on their own thing.

That's most likely the case. I've been reading Adventure as well, which has just now kind of been added in until Issue 11, but Supergirl was definitely borrowing heavily at times from the likes of Action and Superman.

Though now I'm very tempted to start reading Superman and Batman as they kick off new writers and directions with the milestone issues.
