Hell yes!!!
Punisher Max is to be relaunched next Fall with a new #1.
Will be written by Jason Aaron, with art by returning Punisher-artist Steve Dillon.
One more monthly to my pull list it seems!

It doessound like a very good one. But budget won't allow for it, I'm afraid.

I think I'm willing to read an Aaron and Dillon Punisher Max series. I'm a bit put off by re-including Punisher Max into the normal continuity by throwing the Kingpin into the story, since it means bye-bye permenant/certain death, but Aaron's one-shots on the Punisher have been very entertaining.
Hopefully this will be the type of book that plays to Dillon's strengths too!

I'm wary of the series for the reasons Stocky stated. However, having read the article I am glad that Aaron is conscious of what Ennis has done with the character and isn't going into the series to simply try and reproduce Ennis' work.
Aaron is a great writer and I believe he realizes the enormous risk of placing Punisher MAX within MU (especially after Ennis so thoroughly revitalized the character long after Castle became a joke), more to the point Aaron sounds like he has something up his sleeve to make Castle's transition worthwhile and interesting.

Incidently, something Aaron mentioned in the article, has anything read his Hellblazer? Any good?
I'm definitely intrigued. I read the interview this morning and one thing that leaps up at me now is an appreciation for Aaron's straight forward promoting of a book. It's refreshing to read someone not feel the need to jump on a self created hyperbole bandwagon when selling his books.

That Hellblazer bit wasn't bad, but I wasn't exactly thrilled by the story.
