Wolverine's bone-claws hairy elbows bandana crooked letter text talking phase from the mid-90s
Nightcawler's second costume from the mid-90's excalibur with the shaved head and goatee. was so horrible it only lasted a year and with the exception of the gay leather era has stuck with the david cockrum look ever since...
And any costume Angel has ever worn outside of the red/white blue/white neal adams costumes he switches out from time to time

Whilce Portacio & Jim Lee made the 90's Jean Grey outfit work.
I hated Rogue and Colossus' outfits pre-Mutant Massacre.

I liked Rogue's rubber costume from X-treme X-Men as well Wolverine's bone claw, bandana look.
And I liked the New X-Men costumes.
