I heard this recently as well.. I think it was mentioned in the FCBD issue and I was very confused.

Um.. so.. it was canceled by technology? Ok?

Well, it was more "overpowered" than "cancelled" but yeah. It was basically a reverse Spider-Tracer from what I can remember.

Maybe kind of like when you shine a really bright light in someones eye and they go blind for a period of time?

Either way, poor spider-man, he really is the butt monkey of Marvel lately.
