Uh yeah, isn't he exclusive with DC?

That's what I thought, both of them.

No. The exclusive contract ran out. I think they're returning to Marvel.

Can't say the DC exclusive has been a tremendous success.

Not at all, what has Adam done there?

I dunno about his return to Wolverine. His run there was great, but he need a fill-in for every 3, 4 issues. And back then at least he drew on oversized paper, what enabled him to put a lot of detail in the pages. He hasn't done that since that run.

At DC? He did Superman with Johns and Donner : about 6 issues.
The Last Will of the DC Universe : 1 issue.
And covers.

That's it. In 2 years. Slower than Jim Lee!

Don't diss Adam Kubert, man!

Just remember. the Kuberts run their own business too, which probably takes priority so they don`t try and do a lot of work.

Unlike Jim Lee, who has his own company, yet decides to try and do monthly books only to fail.

Well, they both failed. Andy on Batman and Adam on Superman were both supposed to be the monthly artist on those titles. Neither of those titles came out on time.

Very true. They need to have them turn in their work before beginning publishing.

Kubert's run on Wolverine is one of the things that got me addicted to comics back in the day. The Wolverine vs. Sabertooth (#91?) was the greatest fucking fight EVER

Oh yeah, I have that issue in French. It was gorgeous.

On the House to Astonish podcast they have a good laugh about DC hiring the Kuberts on exclusive contracts, getting nothing much out of them and now Marvel just sweeping them up at the end.

Ron Garney will be the artist for Jason Aaron's Wolverine Weapon X run. Wolverine Origins is becoming a Daken on-going. Don't know about the main Wolverine book though.

Isn't it going to become Dark Wolvering or something like that?

Garney/Aaron? Sounds like a win, I might actually get that.

Garney is a great artist. I had never heard of him before that Wolverine run.

Really? He has been around for ages!

Cameron : Arn? What has Ron Garney done?

Arn : He did a highly regarding run on Captain America with Mark Waid before the Heroes Reborn stuff. Then he was the artist on Uncanny X-Men around the early 400s issues. Also had runs on Incredible Hulk and Amazing Spider-Man.
Even did the JLA with Kurt Busiek at DC.

We need to do another con soon, it's fun. :D
