Okay, so the story is a slow one. Should've expected that. There's some decent pacing to it, but something already tells me this mini is at least 1 issue too long.
But the art: nice! I guess they're going for classic Windsor-Smith/Silvestri/Kubert Wolverine, instead of the Jackman-version we've had the last 15 years. Somehow this makes it a whole lot better for me for the moment.
On the French forum I go to, they are really negative about it. It's apparently worse than Death of Wolverine which they did not think possible. Haven't read either of those stories but the comments there are not enticing.
About the art, McNiven is already off the book. Shalvey is stepping in as soon as issue 2.

I'm out then, the art was the best selling point.
Issue one was garbage for me.
Re-tread of wolverine losing his memories, super vague, and I'm not interested in these new powers they keep promising in all the advertisements.
To be honest, the first time I heard of it, I was under the impression he'd get 'fire claws'. So hot knife claws is actually better than what I thought it'd be.
