BLACKEST NIGHT #5 (OF 8)
DETECTIVE COMICS #859
GREEN LANTERN #48
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #39
WONDER WOMAN #38
UNCANNY X-MEN #517
Overall, AMAZING week! Blackest Night and Green Lantern, where Mahnke has been getting better and better to me, and Uncanny and Wonder Woman have been solid great reads for months! Justice League of America needs work, but I'm hoping that the Blackest Night Tie In with the BL Dr. Light will deliver something.

From last week: Superman/Batman
Powers HC vol 3!!!
The Boys vol 5: Herogasm
Great, huge week. The only clunker on my list is JLA but everything else has me excited. I've been enjoying Uncanny X-Men more and more as of late. The story going on in X-Men legacy has me bored so uncanny is a nice distraction. And GCS has been a consistently fun read from word 1.
The other two big'uns on my list are Powers & The Boys. I'm surprised Powers is coming out now. The latest date has it listed for the 3rd or 4th week of December.

I agree wholeheartedly on Uncanny. Since issue 500 the book has really been delivering great stories, and I like the artwork from both Land and Dodson, with the exception of Land's Beast. As for Legacy, the only thing I don't like about it right now is Acuna as the main interior artist. I think it fits for the alternate dimension scenes Emplate lives in, but I'd rather someone else have 'real world' scenes. I just can't take much of his art at one time.
Also, I too went 'wtf' upon seeing the last thing on Arn's list.

How can you be a fan of Greg Rucka and yet, not buy Detective Comics? What canuckish madness is this?

I tried the first issue and what so-so on it.
Can you give me a run down of what it is about?
