What are these, Stocky?

Also, excellent book choices.

BATMAN AND ROBIN #6
GREEN ARROW BLACK CANARY #26
RED ROBIN #6
TITANS #19
BOOSTER GOLD #26 (BLACKEST NIGHT)
REBELS #10 (BLACKEST NIGHT)
UNCANNY X-MEN FIRST CLASS #5 (OF 8)

Possible:
REALM OF KINGS IMPERIAL GUARD #1 (OF 5)

I haven't decided on RoK: IG yet but I know I'll get the Inhumans mini. If Havok and Co. are going to be in IG I'll possibly get that one but I'm not sure. Also I may drop UXM First Class this week as it hasn't been that fun overall, especially for an 8 issue mini.

Booster and REBELS are again for the rings, and I'll go with it since Doom Patrol actually paid off and was decent last week. Only 4 issues in makes me kind of want to grab the book itself but we'll see. Also my shop was selling the rings for 1.99 so I might just do that instead.

If I didn't look at your list, I would have forgotten about Chronicles of Wormwood.
Gravel's a particularly fond find amongst the creator owned, indie books!

Anyway, the Authority thing... do you remember the Grant Morrison series that went two issues (second one super delayed) before it got binned. Morrison apparantly apologised after realising he stretched himself too thin. This was probably around the time of 52. It was also around the time of the Wildstorm reboot. Obviously didn't fair well for old Wildstorm.
Can't remember who, but another writer is going to pick up the story. The issue on this week's shipping list may be a simple recap issue, or an issue that will bridge a gap between the two issues of Morrison's and a story from the new writer that takes place where time has advanced since the first two issues.

Phonogram is a series about magic as a metaphor for music. I'm afraid it's going a little over my head, but the guys at House to Astonish fucking loved the first series and swear by the second one two. Though it's going over my head a little, the second series has been interesting even if it brings up my lack of contemporary, indie music. The current arc is set in a club. There are several protagonists we are following. Each appears to be getting an issue devoted to them, where we get the same meet-ups at the club viewed from one of the other protagonist's perspective. Each character is a different type of 'phonomancer' or musical magician. Each representing a different musical fanatic. Sometimes the idea of them representing something magical is openingly spelt out and sometimes it's just a metaphor.
It seems to be a massive dialogue of musical enjoyment, pretensions, varieties and above all love and the magic of music and its affects on us.

It's quite a unique series. Quite different for me. I bought the trade of the first one and I've been shelving it after a quick read of the first few pages in favour of more familiar genre of trades.

I dislike the pretentious new music scene, so I think I will pas on that, the Authority one however I may need to check out.

It's written by Keith Giffen based on Grant Morrison's notes and art is from a roster of artists who will each draw 1 or a couple of issues. First one is Darrick Robertson.
Stocky, won't you be getting Supergod? The new Avatar book from Warren Ellis?
