Newsarama Acquired by TopTenReviews

Not to be left in the dust as Disney acquired Marvel and Warner Bros. created DC entertainment, TopTenReviews acquired Newsarama.

TopTenREVIEWS today announced it has acquired the Consumer Media Division of Imaginova Inc., a privately held company based in New York City. Included in the acquisition are Newsarama.com, Space.com, and LiveScience.com.

As part of the ongoing expansion, TopTenREVIEWS has established the TechMediaNetwork to incorporate these properties, according to a statement released today.

Wow, pretty soon Image will be bought out and all comic related businesses will be owned by entertainment conglomerates.


That's pure speculation by the way.

I'd better start buying stock in the SyFy network before they acquire Darkhorse comics...

Does anybody even still care about Newsarama? I find comicbookresources to be much much better.

I like Newsarama. Thats where I go to get pretty much all my comic news.

I also find CBR to be the superior comic news source, but I still have newsarama on my google reader.

I agree that CBR is a much better and more useful Comic news source, but I still check Newsarama as well daily. I just prefer CBR and check it first.
