The ones I do have were either gifts or pretty rough copies of other books, like my #99 isn't the best copy. I'd be very happy to just get about 99-current and call it a day for the most part on that series unless I strike it rich.
I figured that.

I also said the same thing, then I got 100-current, and thought to myself, "I may as well try and plug away at 1 through 100 as I find good deals on them."

Yeah, finding a good deal on a random issue here and there I won't turn away, but I'm not going to go out of my way to find $200+ books just to get it. I managed to snag my issue 45 as a gift when someone donated them, and that's really the only early issue outside of 99 I have. Not holding my breath but I won't turn them away for the right price.

Got the Spider-Man: Complete Clone Saga vol 2 to fit nicely inbetween vol 1 and 3 that I already have. Now to wait until vol 4 and 5 come out in the next 6 months or so. And now I also want to hunt down X-Men: Complete Age of Apocalypse vol 1-4 to fit nice after my X-Men: Complete Onslaught vol 1-4.

Also scored the Atrocitous figure. Yay!

The Key to the local comic book store so I could open it and run it Saturday.

From 6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday I will have a key to a comic store. One dream come true.

Was a fun day. Opened, set a sale that no one took advantage of, and closed down. Then passed the key back on to the owner. It was a really really great day.

Well done, Tragic!!
If owning a comics shop could be a profitable business in France, I'd definitely drop my job to open one. But yeah, fat chance of that ever happening...

I got the SW books at Midtown on Saturday, I must admit. I didn't see them anywhere at the Con. Also, Dark Empire is fun, but I get the sense I'm missing the finesses of the books. Art's great, though.

Also, I AM ninja. And you obviously didn't pay attention when I bought comics at Jim Hanley's. Also, you bought me those GC backissues.

I've been doing a bit of shopping on eBay for the last week and a half and I've found some pretty decent deals on miscellaneous comics. So far I brought:

Uncanny X-Men #500 - Dodson variant
Green Lantern: Ganthet's Tale - Out of Print since 1997
JLA/Cyberforce
Invincible/Spider-man Team-up
Catwoman #1 - by Cooke Allred (Never gonna live this down)

Cyberforce is a shitty team but I love crossover events. The Invincible/Spider-man crossover was immediately sold out when it was released and was the book I originally wanted Kirkman to autograph but instead I had to settle for the Destroyer. If I see Kirkman at a signing before the next Con, I shall ambush him! Same with the Uncanny X-Men Variant; I'd like to get that autographed by the Dodsons. There are several other older books I have yet to get but I'll hold off on listing them until I actually get them. Then I think that'll be it for me for shopping on eBay for the time being.

Thursday I picked up some trades. I haven't done that in a while. >.< Walking Dead volume 13 was sold out, the buggers.

Green Lantern: Agent Orange
The Boys volume 3
Immortal Weapons (Iron Fist)
Batman: Battle for the Cowl
100 Bullets volume 7

I think this week Adam's sending me TWD 12, Red and the Echo that came out some time ago.

Hey, Wally, how's Batman Cacophony? I've picked it up and put it down a few times now... I'm leery of it.

And Mic, how was the fifth volume of Iron Fist? I enjoyed volume 1 and 2, disliked 3 and 4. You can be my tie-breaker vote on if I pick up volume 5. ^_^
