Chris Hemsworth to play Thor

Rumors began to swirl over the weekend, and now, it looks like Chris Hemsworth will be wielding Thor’s hammer for the upcoming Kenneth Branagh-directed film version of the Marvel Comics character.

Only thing I know about Hemsworth is that he was George Kirk in the Star Trek movie but he
looks like he could be a good enough Thor. Obviously it also depends on what the costume looks like.

Tom Hiddleston has just been cast as Loki, and it seems he's done some decent work on stage and in Britain.
