The search of back issues

So after failing to find 100 Bullets #20 anywhere in New York, I decided to look it up on the net.
Nothing at Midtowncomics. com but there you, milehighcomics.com has copies on sale!

So while I'm there, I start looking for most books that were on my wishlist at comicbookdb and damn!! They are all there! So I buy them as well.

And then I think, that's only 3 issues, the shipping will cost more than what I order. So what do I do? I look for more issues.

Vertigo Pop London by Milligan and Bond? Sure they have all 4 issues. In my order folder.

Batman/Deathblow by the dream team of Azz and Bermejo, well fuck me, they only have issues 2 and 3 and no TPBs either. But fuck I'll still get those 2.

So I ended up ordering 8 issues and I'm so eager to get them that I settled on the Fedex International Priority shipping.

Now I feel satisfied but I want more!! MORE!!!:D

It's the one I use, and it works quite well for me.

It's Batman/Deathblow: After the Fire, right?

Comicasa, a Dutch firm, has the complete set (1-3) for €24. No idea if that's overpriced.

That is overpriced.

Arn, I'll look at my LCBS next time I go, too, for you.
Did you look at the con?

No, I didn't. I looked at Midtown and Jim Hanley's to see if they had the TPB but they didn't.
I realize now that didn't spend any time at all looking through the back issues shop at NYCC. Was too busy running after sketches and sigs.

I must check these places out. I've never considered buying issues on-line before.

It's a wonderful thing if you find them on sale.

Milehigh is very very over priced.

But my comics are arriving tomorrow thanks to my foolish decision to choose Fedex Priority shipping.

Now I want to do more of this, starting with MK Punisher run.

Also : if anybody happens to find a copy of Batman/Deathblow #1 anywhere, he is to text immediately to let me know and buy that thing for me. I'll reward you.

In the eye.

I got my comics today, all of them in great shape.

Now, concerning mycomicshop, I just checked them and I must their shipping costs are fucking high. 77$ for Express shipping. :s

Where did you order from?
Why bother with express shipping?

I think that was a mistake.

No it wasn't a mistake. Express shipping at Mile High was 18$. That's where I ordered from.
Regular shipping at mycomicshop is 19$ and express is $77. So I don't think I'm ordering from them anytime soon.

$77! That's really absurd.

I still think milehigh is very over priced. Sometimes 3 or 4 times as much as mycomicshop.

I wonder what the actual difference in ship time is.

I don't know.

Stuff I might want to get from online stores : The rest of MK Punisher run, Human Target by Milligan/Pulido and Chiang.
