Next DC: Animated Film?

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

With the sucess of their previous animated films and the upcoming GL animated film, what do you guys think think the next DC animated film should be?

If its not already being worked on, I feel the next logical choice for an animated film should be a Flash movie starring Wally West. It could very easily be as great as the WW and Superman/Doomsday films -storywise- and as funny as the WW film. If/when they do make a Flash film, I hope they use the animation style in WW. The Superman/Doomsday animation was butt ugly, and the Darwyn Cooke style animation from The New Frontier wouldn't fit either.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I know I'm down for a Wally West film, or hell even a Flash film in general, but the next one is the Superman/Batman Public Enemies based on Loeb/McGuinness' first arc on the book

Yea, I forgot about S/B. Still, I think a Flash movie down the line (much sooner rather than later) would be great and make sense, given that DC has already put out a Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and very soon a GL film.

And after a Flash movie, maybe there would be a chance of doing an Aquaman animated film (though this'll probably never happen, I can dream).

Okay, so the animated films I want to see are:
Flash
Aquaman
BoP
Brave & the Bold featuring Flash & GL

I heavily agree with the necessity of a Flash film since Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman have their own. And now that GL get's one, Flash is definitely next. To me, those two round out DC's 'Big 5' so I think he's logically next, especially if a Flash film gets underway.

I'd love a BoP or Brave and Bold with Flash and GL as well, but I'm very very very much wanting the initially announced and now on hiatus Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated film. I really like the idea of films about particular storylines and to me that one would be THE Teen Titans storyline to produce.
