So I've stumbled across a few of their pages.. and I know a few of you are friends with some of them, but most of you have met them at Cons and the like a few times (or stalked in bars as well)..
But I guess I'm asking if it's worth it to find them there, or simply find their websites and the like if they have them. Do they use them often and send out updates? I'm sure most of their stuff's disabled so if fans are friends they don't flood their walls with the 'I love your work sign my stuff' crap, but I'm trying to figure out if I should basically try and get personal updates from them there or try to find them on their own sites or get a Twitter account or something...
Um.. so.. I guess I'm asking if you get anything extra by friending them like updates/info on news and the like?

Well, so far I'm friend with Jason Aaron, Brian Wood, G. Willow Wilson and Ivan Brandon.
It's more for fun than anything else as they all have blogs covering their works. It can even be a pain as Ivan Brandon updates his status every fucking 10mn...
I'm also "Fan of" Cameron Stewart but it isn't much instead.
Some guys have turned my request down. Cliff Chiang is the only one I can remember.
Also, it's funny that Bummer's friend who was passing himself for Grant Morrison managed to fool just about everybody.

Yea, i saw another friend of mine is friends with Gail Simone, but at the same time I'm curious how many of them are 'fakes' and not the creators themselves. I'm fans of a few of them, and yea not much comes from that really.
Suppose I could

OH how I wish
His fan page isn't run by him, and he basically deleted his Myspace page saying it was too much to keep up with.
But I stumbled across a few creators and just kind of went hmm and wondered

That's the "other" in my Facebook by the numbers note.
I've been thinking about adding more but... meh. Just not that into it.

HA! I wondered what 'other' could be since you had the MB listed too.

I just chatted with Willow Wilson yesterday using Facebook chat.
With Edbert too but I had to put a quick end to that. Wouldn't want to be accused of trying to attract underage kids.

There was candy, and he mentioned video games in his basement... then for no reason he had to leave.
Also, the police were driving buy and looking at me a whole lot...

Dude, leave her alone. She is a nice person, and good-looking too!
I guess when you move, you have other thing on your mind than sending out a comics to the Frenchie who has just harassed you for 3 days.

I'm giving Air maybe another one or two issues. It's just not appealing to me.

I thought the most recent issue was pretty good. So far I haven't disliked it, it's just taking me longer to adjust to this type of storytelling; so I'll stick with it a bit longer. Its so far from what I normally read and I'm making an effort to branch out and try different genres.
