GREEN ARROW BLACK CANARY #18
TITANS #11

Throw in Buffy and War of Kings from last week and it won't be too bad. I may or may not pick up Battle for the Cowl. I still don't know if I want the event solor or in trade, or if I want to just follow the storyline online and the like rather than read it.

What's everyone here going to do on BftC?

well, BftC is all by Tony Daniel, so Morisson is of no worry. And the downloading thing just isn't my style for comics. I might just wait to read some online reviews then go for it later on.

Just the Nightcrawler thing. Been listening to the Uncanny X-cast on my commute, it makes me want to start reading again. Right now I'm on stuff that's over two years old so they are reviewing some of the last books I read...

DMZ #40, $2.99
Ex Machina Special #4 (Tony Harris Regular Cover), $3.99
Fables #82, $2.99
Northlanders #15, $2.99
Scalped #26, $2.99

I'll download Battle for the Cowl.
I think the Gaiman/Kubert part 2 is Dectective Comis 853. It's late.

Is it sad that I totally didn't realize the Gaiman/Kubert issue of 'Tec was late? I thought it had come and gone and was as disappointing as Part 1 =o/

Anyway, here is what I got today:
ACTION COMICS #875 $2.99
BATMAN BATTLE FOR THE COWL #1 (OF 3) $3.99 [both covers]
EX MACHINA SPECIAL #4 (MR) $3.99
FABLES #82 (MR) $2.99
Justice Society of America's last issue's variant cover
STAND AMERICAN NIGHTMARES #1
X-MEN MANIFEST DESTINY NIGHTCRAWLER ONE SHOT $3.99 [sooo not worth it]
ANGEL BLOOD AND TRENCHES #1 $3.99 [both covers]

BftC wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Too many questions created with nothing answered...

I thumbed through it and wasn't so thrilled on the art. It's really downhill for me from RIP so I passed. Maybe a trade or something down the line, or when I can spare enough to grab all three issues at once.

The art wasn't that bad, I liked it. Parts could have been better, like when we first see Damien I seriously was thinking "damn, Tim looks young and who is the skank he's with?"

Either way, I'm really excited for the series. Just wish more would have been answered than questioned...

Hey, I got to the part where I quit, and now I remember why! That fucking 12 issue arc that was in space. God, that sucked!

Yeah, I lost interest there as well. In fact I still have a sneaking suspicion that I didn't read everything from that arc, lol. It wasn't all that great so I'm not even going to bother with trying to see if I missed an issue or not...

Well, Battle for the Cowl is written and drawn by Tony Daniel. His art only makes anything dull so I can't even begin to imagine what it's like when he is writing it himself.

Is there a puking smiley somewhere?
