DC is restructuring the management innards of Vertigo and as a result, long time editor Shelly Bond has been let go from the company. She took over for our beloved Karen Berger after she resigned from her position at Vertigo.

DC is also reexamining the direction & focus of Vertigo. I have no clue what this means but it can't bode well for Vertigo. It hasn't produced the same volume of quality books in recent years but I don't think this reexamining means they'll ax the imprint altogether. Do you?

All I can say is DC's editorial department has been so bad lately that any interference is going to be for the worst.

This is the end of Vertigo as we knew it. Let's give the keys to Gerard Way and get emo Doom Patrol.

I miss the old Vertigo.
